[dropcap]Terence[/dropcap] Fixmer has been creating EBM laced techno since his beginnings during the late 90’s. Fixmer has indeed proven himself to be a true force on the dance floor—from his ‘Muscle Machine,’ debut on DJ Hell’s International Deejay Gigolo Records, to his recent EP ‘Beneath the Skin’ on the infamous Berghain imprint, Ostgut Ton: his first record with the label.
This past April Fixmer also returned to working with his early influence:Nitzer Ebb’s Douglas McCarthy. The pair as Fixmer/McCarthy released the ‘So Many Lies’ single together—their first collaboration in eight years—and are now embarking on a short string of European dates in support of the release of ‘Fixmer/McCarthy Selected Works 2003/2006’ which is out now on Fixmer’s out Planete Rouge.
Terrance Fixmer was gracious enough to take some time out of touring to answer some questions from Post-Punk.com.
