Veil of Light Return In Strobed Darkness with their Video for the Bitter and Spiteful “You Done Me Wrong”

Swiss synth-infused post-punk project Veil of Light return with the video for the track “You Done Me Wrong, ” —an ominously caustic barrage percussion and lavish bass synth crackle onward along with sonorous vocals that peer through the dark and strobed visuals wrapped in shredded magnetic tape, evoking an unyielding atmosphere of spiteful misery.

“You Done Me Wrong” is the bitter and acid burned fourth single from Veil of Light’s fourth studio album Inflict—and inflict it does, with the kind of vengeful anger that cuts like the snap of fine leather breaking through skin—burned into further agony by the concentrated salt left over from an ocean of tears.

Watch the video below:

Inflict was released on May 10, 2019, on via AVANT! Records.
