Vancouver Post-Punk Outfit Spectres Debut Fantastic New Single “Tell Me”

Vancouver Post-Punk Outfit Spectres have returned with their hauntingly beautiful new single “Tell Me”, the lead single and final track on their forthcoming new album “Hindsight”.

The song combines Giorgio Moroder-inspired beats with classic post-punk guitars, evoking New Order during their Power, Corruption & Lies era, but sounding unlike anything else with Brian Gustavson’s dreamlike vocal sincerity. With heartbreaking lyrics that look back, pleading for answers, “Tell Me” is a timeless track that transcends Nostalgia.

Following 2020’s Nostalgia, SPECTRES spent their pandemic year off from touring in back in the studio, honing their songcraft and recording new tracks for the new album aptly named Hindsight. The record also includes three tracks recorded from the Los Angeles radio show Part-Time Punks.

Artoffact Records is offering a clear-vinyl version of the new album, as well as CD and digital formats, t-shirts, and discounted combos. All of these formats are available on Bandcamp.

Hindsight is out November 5, 2021.
