Vancouver Post-Punk band Actors burn bright in ‘L’appel Du Vide’

Vancouver’s ACTORS, a Post-Punk quartet that has a cinematic new-wave feel have just debuted an unbelievably good track L’appel Du Vide, with Jason Corbett’s vocals channeling something akin John Foxx composing a classic 4AD era song that belongs on a Michael Mann soundtrack—or in the tapedeck of a convertible driving along the beach in San Junipero.

The title of the single, L’appel du vide, literally meaning “the call of the void”, is a French phrase used to refer to intrusive thoughts or the urge to engage in a self-destructive behavior during everyday life.
