Texas’ own post-punk duo Twin Tribes have dropped “Heart and Feather”—the first single to be featured on the band’s forthcoming sophomore album titled Ceremony.
The new song, produced by Allen Michael and the band and Mixed by Charlie Vela, follows the compilation track “Still in Still, and last year’s critically acclaimed début LP Shadows.
“Heart and Feather” is a beautiful lyrical interplay between light, love, shadow; both danceable and introspectively brooding, with a shimmering melody of hopeful resignation—cursed by the passage of time as the song suggests.

The release of “Heart & Feather” comes immediately after Twin Tribes performed with Turkish post-punk heroes She Past Away at a sold-out show at Part Time Punks in Los Angeles.
The new album Ceremony will be released this fall through Young & Cold Records for European Vinyl, Manic Depression Records for European CD, and through Negative Gain in the U.S.
Find ordering information when it becomes available through the official Twin Tribes Bandcamp page here.
Meanwhile, Twin Tribes are playing a series of festivals this year, including Murder of Crows Festival on August 31st in NYC, Cold Waves VIII in Chicago on September 21st, and Absolution Fest in Tampa on October 4th
Additionally, the band are also planning an East coast tour for Winter 2019 (see schedule below).
