The U.K.’s Barnaby Festival closed out this past Sunday night with The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess and friends playing material appropriate for the Macclesfield church venue. Honoring the legacy, Burgess brought New Order’s Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert onstage to perform stripped down versions of “Love Vigilantes,” “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and “World in Motion.”
