The Sisters of Mercy to Play First US Show in 14 Years at Sick New World Festival

SING. For the first time in fourteen years, The Sisters of Mercy have scheduled a US appearance: the band is slated to perform at the Sick New World festival on May 13th at the Las Vegas Fair Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sick New World is shaping up to be a nü-metal, goth, industrial dream roster: besides Sisters of Mercy, the lineup also includes System of a Down, Deftones, Placebo, Ministry, She Wants Revenge, Mr Bungle, Skinny Puppy, Killing Joke, Orgy, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Evanescence, Cradle of Filth, Lacuna Coil, and The 69 Eyes, and many more acts- mostly a celebration of dark alternative music from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.

Order your pre-sale tickets here on Friday, November 11th, at 10:00 AM PT. General admission tickets start at $250. VIP packages are priced at $420 and $520. Hotel and ticket packages are also available. (There are layaway options with just $19.99 down at this link.)

Maybe another album will materialize out of Eldritch’s mind, or he’ll relent to a few more American concerts…we live in lawless times, after all! Until then, pump yourselves up with some classic Sisters of Mercy tunes, and read Waiting for Another War to brush up on your Sisters history
