The Sisters of Mercy to Embark on 2023 UK and European Tour This Autumn

Following their highly anticipated 19-date US tour, The Sisters of Mercy have announced an extensive Autumn 2023 tour throughout the UK and Europe. The iconic post-punk band originally formed in Leeds four decades ago continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of dark psychedelia, metal, dance beats, and guttural growls, offering fans a chance to experience their powerful live performances.

In addition to their US tour, The Sisters of Mercy have already confirmed shows in Mexico, with a concert on June 11th, 2023, in Guadalajara at the C3 Stage and another on June 13th, 2023, in Ciudad de México at the Circo Volador. The band will then head to South America, with concerts on June 16th, 2023, in Santiago, Chile, at Club Chocolate, and on June 18th, 2023, in São Paulo, Brazil, at Tokio Marine Hall.

Following their South American shows, the band will perform two dates in London, UK, on September 22nd and 23rd, 2023, at the Camden Roundhouse, before embarking on their European tour. The European tour will kick off on September 26th, 2023, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at the Paradiso. The tour will take them through various cities, including Utrecht, Münster, Esch-sur-Alzette, Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, and Köln. The Sisters of Mercy will also perform in Budapest, Praha, Würzburg, Stuttgart, Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Madrid, Lisboa, Porto, Bilbao, Genève, Trezzo sull’Adda, Cesena, Zagreb, Ljubljana, München, and Wien.

After completing the European leg of the tour, the band will return to the UK for six additional shows, beginning on November 15th, 2023, in Bristol at the Marble Factory, followed by performances in Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.

The upcoming tour promises a captivating setlist, featuring fan favorites, deep cuts, and critically acclaimed new tunes. Recent live reviews have praised the band’s performances, highlighting the stellar contributions of band members Ben Christo, Dylan Smith, ‘Ravey’ Dave Creffield, and, as ever, Doktor Avalanche.

Don’t miss the opportunity to catch The Sisters of Mercy’s smoke-machine-laden live shows during their world tour in 2023.
