The Psychedelic Furs Announce US Tour Dates in Support of New Album “Made of Rain”

When it rains, it pours! The Psychedelic Furs, hot on the heels of announcing eighth studio album Made of Rain, the band’s first record in 29 years, have announced North American tour dates in support of the new record.

The new album Made of Rain was produced by Richard Fortus, who had joined Furs core members Richard and Tim Butler for their mid-’90s band Love Spit Love (most well known for a cover of “How Soon is Now”), and is now currently a member of Guns and Roses.

Previously, while the Furs were on tour last year with James, fans were treated to a preview of the album’s opening track, “The Boy That Invented Rock & Roll”, and along with the LP’s recent announcement, the brilliant “Don’t Believe”.

Made of Rain is set for release on May 1st on Cooking Vinyl, and will be released on both CD and vinyl, and in digital formats.

In promotion of the album, The Furs so far have announced tour dates throughout the south and the southwestern US, with seven dates in Florida, one in Louisiana, four in Texas, and two in Arizona.
