The Mary Onettes | Ruins

[dropcap]After[/dropcap] blessing the rains down in Africa with 2013’s “Hit the Waves”, Philip Ekström returned The Mary Onettes to form with last year’s album “Portico”—which was sadly overlooked by much of the mainstream music press.  However, with today’s release of this dreamlike duet with Selebrities‘ Maria Usbeck, entitled “Ruins”—Let us hope that those who have forgotten how great Sweden’s champions of dreampop are…will awaken from their sleep.
