The KVB Dive into Shimmering Dreamlike Nostalgia in “Submersion”

Psychedelic synth-infused dream pop duo The KVB will finally be embarking on their North American tour starting October 11.

Their trek across the states beginning in San Diego, sees Nick and Kat with a new tour exclusive limited-edition vinyl EP, Submersion—will also be out digitally on October 4 via their label Invada.

The EP features two brand new songs and remixes, including one by The Holydrug Couple.

The EP’s title track “Submersion” is one of our favourite tracks yet from The KVB describe by the band as “a melancholic, romantic and uplifting ode to closing off the distractions and turmoil of the modern world and being alone with the one you love.”

“Submersion” is a warm crystalline dream awash in shimmering nostalgia—comforting yet exhilarating, and deeply romantic.

Listen to “Submersion”  below.

Tracklist:

  1. Submersion
  2. Outlands
  3. Into Life (Alternative Version)
  4. Above Us (The Holydrug Couple Remix)
  5. On My Skin (Minami Deutsch / 南ドイツ Remix)
