Mixed and mastered by Seger Rauls at Phoenix Studios, “B.I.T.E.” delves into the intricacies of religion, identity, and mental health. In the artist’s own words, the song “explores the complex relationship between religion and identity, and the mental health struggles that arise from it.” The narrative speaks to the pain of seeking solace in religious doctrine, only to find oneself lost and manipulated by those who promise salvation.

The minimalist musical approach of “B.I.T.E.” ensures the poignant message takes center stage. The track features buoyant, metallic synths reminiscent of John Carpenter’s iconic soundscapes, paired with dark, smoldering vocals echoing the disaffected tones of Dave Gahan.
