The Gathering Dive Deep Into Shark-laden Waters in their Video for “1000 Years”

Vancouver’s era 80s post-punk act The Gathering are gracing us with another round of unapologetic romance in their latest video, “1000 Years”.

In the video, a woman dives into the ocean during a lightning storm to swim among the Sharks, as vocalist Peter Burns croons beautifully in profile as his voice cracks like thunder over the wave-swept water.

“1000 Years” is featured on The Gathering’s Love Songs EP, and is their 3rd video single, taken from the record issued by Cold Transmission Music this past summer.

The Love Songs EP was produced and engineered by Jason Corbett of ACTORS.
