Vancouver’s era 80s post-punk act The Gathering are gracing us with another round of unapologetic romance in their latest video, “1000 Years”.
In the video, a woman dives into the ocean during a lightning storm to swim among the Sharks, as vocalist Peter Burns croons beautifully in profile as his voice cracks like thunder over the wave-swept water.
“1000 Years” is featured on The Gathering’s Love Songs EP, and is their 3rd video single, taken from the record issued by Cold Transmission Music this past summer.
