The Cure set to perform 40th anniversary concert in London

The Cure have announced the morning a 40th anniversary concert in London set for July 2018.

Robert Smith and Co will be celebrating “40 imaginary years” on Saturday July 7th 2018 at BST Hyde Park, London., with a rather short set time for the band, clocking in at only 120 minutes.

This is a headline slot for a proper festival reminiscent of 2004’s Curiosa Festival.  Bands slated to join The Cure on stage including Interpol, Goldfrapp, Editors, Ride, The Twilight Sad, and Slowdive with many many more yet to be announced…

We are so glad Slowdive are on the bill, as stated during our 2014 interview with the beloved shoegaze band, Bassist Nick Chaplin had stated that Simon Gallup is his hero, and it is their dream to open for The Cure.

Tickets on sale 9am Friday 15th December 2017. Presale is 9am TODAY Tuesday 12th December.
