In advance of their 3 imaginative shows with And Also the Trees at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo next week —The Cure will be providing a pair of guest appearances on Thursday and Friday at the Brian and Robin’s Christmas Compendium of Reason benefit concert at the same venue, performing what they describe as “a small clutch of ‘happy hits’” both nights.

The concerts are billed as “two great nights of science, music, comedy and wonder, including charm quarks, strange quarks and confusion” benefiting Medecins Sans Frontieres and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. As of this Tuesday evening, tickets remain available for both nights.
