It warms my heart to share with you a new program some friends in NYC have developed in the vein of classic MTV shows like 120 Minutes and Alternative Nation. The B-Sides: NYC Sessions, produced by Jenna Emans, and hosted by Kristen Korvette, features music videos, live performances, and interviews from bands that are new wave, punk, synth, rockabilly, psychedelic or noise rock, and other indie genres. It’s about time New York had a tv show like this on the air again!
The premiere episode features videos from The Prids, Dum Dum Girls, and The Harrow, with and interview and live performances from A Place to Bury Strangers.
