Lesser Care, a powerful post-punk shoegaze project from West, Texas, has just released two new singles for the modern age. The concept of both tracks, Palm and Acquired Taste, delves into loss, grief, loneliness, and acceptance. With earnest, forlorn vocals swaddled in reverb, howling guitar, and heavy cymbals, the tracks are melancholy and full of gravitas.
All of the songs were recorded earlier this year. Lesser Care is currently in the process of recording their debut LP. If Palm and Acquired Taste are any indication of what to expect, the undertaking of these tracks will serve as a balm to troubled souls, and a safe haven for the bereaved.
