Texas goth rockers Rosegarden Funeral Party have unveiled the video for “Tortured Decline”, the second track on the trio’s recently released At The Stake EP.
The song is about the self-inflicted masochism of a breakup and the unrelenting thoughts of imagining an ex-lover with someone new. Here Leah Lane’s powerful vocals resonate with ferocious emotional intensity and anguish, soaring above guitar work whose glittering darkness guides the song through the harrowing subject matter of heartbreak.
The video is a farewell to the band’s Rosegarden Funeral Home, which hosted the Obituary deathrock events.
“This is absolutely my favorite music video we’ve done so far. Erin DeVany, our forever visual partner, creates magic one last time at the Rosegarden Funeral Home.”

“Tortured Decline” was recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by Michael Briggs at Civil Audio in Denton, Texas Music, and the video was filmed, edited, and directed by Erin Shae DeVany of All Hallows Productions.
