Synthwave Act HøRD Casts a Sinister Shadow in the Video for “Lrn”

HøRD is premiering with us today his minimalist video for the sinisterly seductive synthwave track “Lrn”, one of eight featured on his upcoming second album Parallels. The video is an atmospheric one shot, filmed at a distance from a rural industrial complex, where a woman is chased across a field with a man in pursuit—both caught in umbra of a passing cloud as they run.

So many questions…

Started in 2014, HøRD’s is the solo project of Bordeaux-based synthwave producer Sebastien Carl.

After previously issuing his first album on Antoni Maiovvi and Vercetti Technicolor’s Giallo Disco and an EP on SNTS’ own label Sacred Court, Carl’s second full-length record Parallels is set for release on September 14th on Avant! Records.
