Italo-disco infused synth-pop siren and Neue Deutsch Welle warrior Riki is back with a second new single from her upcoming self-titled debut album on Dais Records out on this Valentine’s Day.
Riki is the guise of enigmatic LA-based artist Niff Nawor, who describes the fantastic new track soaked with classic new wave vibes as evoking “the feeling I get in a moment when the bridges between everything become obvious”.
The video for Earth Song by creative production duo Amanda Siegel and Benjamin Turner. who had previously worked with Riki on her gorgeous video for “Napoleon.”
Regarding the video for “Earth Song Amanda explains’:
“For our second collaboration with Riki, we imagined two worlds– an ethereal macro world of soft edges and organic matter, and an uncanny pastoral reality. We really leaned into practical effects, playing with focus and reflections on water for a dreamy effect.”
