Following the release of their brilliant debut EP Warfare, Swedish post-punk band Isolated Youth have revealed their video for “Oath”.
Of the songs themes, guitarist William Mårdberg explains:
“’Oath’ was meant to be like a promise or a vow, but with our backs against the wall. Oath has a strong effect on us and the room every time we play it. The lift in the video could possibly resemble the idea of that.”

Leading up to the release of Warfare, Isolated Youth played several shows with William Maybelline and Larissa Iceglass of Lebanon Hanover, who have been championing the band for the past year:
“We have only got good things to say about those two.” says Mårdberg”,
“Ever since we met William and Larissa they have been supportive and very kind. We regard them as good friends. Both Hamburg and Berlin turned out great, and we felt well connected with the audience. So we’re hoping to do something similar in 2019.”
The friendship with Lebanon Hanover also extends to Greek label Fabrika Records, who have signed the Swedish band, and brought them into the Fabrika Family.
“We gravitated towards each other early on,” says Mårdberg, “Fabrika feels like a natural home for Isolated Youth. They understand our artistic intentions and are honest, talented people.”
