The Brooklyn-based band, Statiqbloom, released their new album, Beneath the Whelm, on July 10th via Metropolis Records. Members Fade Kainer and Denman Anderson explain:
Statiqbloom combine hard beats & haunting electronics with disorienting vocals to create pulsing raw Post-Industrial. The new album, Beneath The Whelm, sees a sharpened progression for Statiqbloom. It combines hallucinogenic synths, seething rhythms & grim atmospherics into a thunderous set of dark electro.
Statiqbloom’s video for “Restless” portrays a subdued, lonely atmosphere set to a 4/4 beat. As a study on light and dark, the video was shot by Kainer in the UK during quarantine and is a collage of clips that wrestle between severe light and dark imagery (much like their live shows).
