Station to Station with David Bowie Subway MetroCards

The Metropolitan Transit Authority have given New Yorkers a new stylish way to go Station to Station with a limited-edition run of MTA MetroCards featuring the city’s world famous longtime resident and hero David Bowie.

The new cards follow last year’s with “Twin Peaks” branding—which we must remind you that Bowie played Agent Phillip Jeffries in the show/movie.

As Brooklyn Vegan reports, the brand new Bowie MetroCards are now available for purchase for $6.50 at the Broadway-Lafayette station, which has been transformed into of a tribute to the legendary singer, being just a few blocks from Bowie’s Soho residence, where he lived until his passing in 2016.

The station’s displays, featuring a giant mural on the outside, are also advertisements for the David Bowie Is exhibition that is currently taking place at the Brooklyn Museum.
