Some Ember Returns With the Surreal and Mournful Video for “Towed”

Some Ember returns with the surreal video for the beautiful track “Towed”—a song featured on the project’s dreamlike second LP Submerging The Sun. a record whose synth arrangements are utilized with dreamlike and almost meditative precision overlaid vocals provided by one of the haunting and plaintive voices in music, Dylan Travis.

The video, which is self-directed, edited, and animated, visualizes the themes of loss and deliverance from the grief that are present throughout the record. The video follows a European tour with Icelandic band Kælan Mikla and release shows in Los Angeles and Berlin.

In January, a companion cassette, Submerged was released via Third Coming Records. Pick up both records here.
