Snoop Dogg Covers Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds’ “Red Right Hand”

Snoop Dogg has dropped a cover of the Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds‘ 1994 single, “Red Right Hand”,  in honor of his massive fandom of British period gangster drama Peaky Blinders.

The  West Coast hip-hop veteran shared his cover show’s seminal theme tune earlier today via the shows various social media channels,

As he introduces the track originally featured on the Bad Seed’s eighth studio album, Snoop don one of the show’s signature flat caps, like the one worn by actor Cillian Murphy, who plays the show’s protagonist.

“By the order of the Peaky Blinders, this is Red Right Hand by Snoop Shelby,” Snoop goes on to say before he dives headlong into a cover version that works surprisingly well.
