Los Angeles post-punk virtuosos Second Still have proved once again their craft with the debut of the masterfully menacing track “Violet”, a song from the group’s upcoming new LP, Violet Phase.
As the band told The 405 “Violet” is “about dedication despite ingratitude and failure,” and “it was inspired by a family member practitioner of Korea’s Moon religion.”

Second Still’s Violet Phase is set for release on May 17, with LPs and CDs issued through Fabrika Records (order here) and a limited cassette run via sentimental Records.
Second Still will also be embarking on their third European tour to promote Violet Phase throughout May and June.
