Scandinavian Synth duo Techne premiere their video for “Dead and Gone”

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]echne is a Scandinavian dark synth-pop duo consisting of Lisa Løebekken from Oslo and Ina Noire from Copenhagen.
During the fall of 2015, the pair begun the project in a small room in Copenhagen—and quickly released their first songs on Bandcamp. From the beginning their musical focus has been on strong vocal harmonies and catchy synth melodies with a melancholic streak.
For their second ep Echoes—additional mastering was done by Patrick Ringsborg from MOTH, Ina and Lisa recorded everything themselves, trying to evoke a classic new-wave style with contemporary studio techniques.
The Music video for Dead and Gone was shot, directed, and edited by Sally Dige while she was in Copenhagen earlier this year—inspired from classic 50’s spy dramas and film noir—with a stylistic feel resembling the music videos Anton Corbijn shot for Depeche Mode.
