Russian Post-Punk Stalwarts Motorama Unveil video for Icy New Track “Pole Star”

Russian Post-Punk stalwarts Motorama have unveiled the video for Icy New Track “Pole Star”. The song follows the release of the band’s previous single, ‘Today and Everyday”, released in August of 2020.

“Give me the time of the date

Before the Arctic dawn

The shine will never end

For both sides of the world”

As of this writing, the new single “Pole Star” is on neither Spotify nor Bandcamp. But the band promised previously via social media that we would see a new album, the follow-up to 2017’s Many Nights, at the beginning of the new year. When “Today and Everyday” made its debut last summer, the band promoted the track as being included on a forthcoming new full-length record, Before the Road.

Watch the striking use of lights, shadows, and silhouettes in the minimalist video for “Pole Star”, shot by Alexey Trineev, below:

In the meantime, while we wait on Motorama’s new album and further release of “Pole Star”, you can pick up digitally the band’s two previous singles here.

Additionally, the band’s darker Russian language side project Утро released a new album last April, as well as other projects such as Лето в городе, and ТЭЦ, all on the band’s new album I’m Home Records.
