Ride Echo Nowhere in “Clouds of Saint Marie”

Following the shimmering jangle-pop brilliance of  “Future Love”, and the aptly titled second single “Repetition”, shoegaze legends Ride echo Nowhere’s 1990 album single “Vapour Trail” on their latest track “Clouds of Saint Marie”.

A recent press release for This Is Not A Safe Place notes that the song is inspired by “the Jean Michel Basquiat exhibition at London’s Barbican Centre and the post-punk sound of The Fall and Sonic Youth, for an album rich in their trademark shoegaze atmosphere, whilst simultaneously sounding rejuvenated and creatively ambitious.”

Listen to and watch “Clouds of Saint Marie” below:

This Is Not A Safe Place comes out This Friday.
