Industrial legend Rhys Fulber debuts his new video “Misery Whip” from his LP Ostalgia on Sonic Groove Records. The video depicts a brutal, desolate future in which the human race has been driven to its end as Fulber wanders a crumbling, cyberpunk landscape.
Fulber, of Front Line Assembly and Delerium, continues his migration into the depths of industrial techno with 2019’s Ostalgia. The term “ostalgia” represents the nostalgia one can have for communist East Germany and “Misery Whip” offers up a vision of what life then might have felt like in the midst of the GDR: traces of humanity in its crumbling ruins.
