Pulp Announce First North American Tour in 12 Years

Do you remember the first time you heard Pulp? The Britpop legends are embarking on a reunion tour with select dates across the pond this fall. Led by the suave and charismatic Jarvis Cocker, the band is marking their first return to North American stages in twelve years, promising a series of electrifying performances in Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Los Angeles as part of their This Is What We Do for an Encore Tour.

“So, the encore continues,” declares frontman Jarvis Cocker. “Come out and have some fun with us. You deserve it. Yes. You do.”

The tour, a tribute to the late, great Steve Mackey, is shaping up to be a jubilant return to the ’90s Britpop scene, with Pulp set to perform the hits that have defined a generation. Adding to the excitement is the opening act Escape-ism (featuring Ian Svenonius and Sandi Dento), a band Cocker describes as “the Found-Sound-Dream-Drama.” High praise indeed!

So, dust off your lipgloss, and get ready to party hard because Pulp is about to remind us why, after all these years, their music still feels like “Something Changed.”

Live Nation pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, March 20th (use access code KEY) ahead of the general on-sale slated for Friday, March 22nd via Ticketmaster.
