Public Memory Unveil Serpentine Single “Red Rainbow”

Brooklyn’s Public Memory return with a new track, “Red Rainbow,” the second single from their upcoming LP Demolition, due out on November 9th via Felte Records.

“Red Rainbow” launches out of the gate with a thick slab of synth arpeggiation and Robert Toher’s ethereal tenor, slithering and evolving over the course of the nearly five minute track, each tonal shift unveiling a fresh sense of dread. Layers of art-damaged synthesizers build the track to a frenzied climax; culminating in one final moment of tension before the entire song breaks into a series of textured wisps.

Fans of dark, symphonic synth music will find much to love on both “Red Rainbow,” as well as the remaining tracks on Demolition, but Public Memory’s sphere stretches much further than the stock synth fare to incorporate dub, trip-hop, and deep kosmiche influence, all set to a series of baying electronics. For those who may have missed it, you can listen to first single “The Line” here, and check below for preorder, album details, and a link to listen to “Red Rainbow” on Spotify:
