[dropcap]Brooklyn’s[/dropcap] Public Memory have released via Felte a remix edition of last year album Wuthering Drum. The LP features a remix by Tempers—who had Public Memory cover their track Strange Harvest recently—along with contributions from Leurre, .thejass., Birds of Prey, Rémy Charrier, knifesex, Hounds Of Hell, Synesect, a place both wonderful and strange and The Sight Below.
The Robert Toher helmed project had this iteration of material initially composed while living in Los Angeles, before returning back to Brooklyn. The contrast between the two cities can be felt in the dark synth driven beats that are both coarse and industrial and languid and atmospheric—amplified by the new mixes in this release.
