Finally, this year is over, and whether you are virtually celebrating at a party or a club, or quietly at home, here are a few essential tracks to say goodbye to the most surreal 365 days in recent history.
We start the list with the obvious choices, such as U2 utilizing Siouxsie and The Banshees producer Steve Lillywhite for the go-to holiday track New Years Day, and The Banshees themselves with Fireworks. Also included are a couple of Cure songs, Little Nemo, Ghost Dance, Joy Division, and more.
Naturally, of course, the last song is The Last Song by Trisomie 21.
From all of us at Post-Punk.com, we wish you a happy new year!
