PJ Harvey Teases New Music with Video Clips Filmed in Studio by Steve Gullick

PJ Harvey has ignited excitement among her fanbase by hinting at the release of upcoming new music and sharing two captivating clips from her recent studio sessions. The videos, skillfully directed, filmed, and edited by Steve Gullick, display Harvey collaborating seamlessly with her longtime partners, John Parish and Flood. In honor of their enduring creative alliance, Harvey has assembled a special Spotify playlist that showcases tracks from her impressive catalog, produced in collaboration with Parish and Flood.

Sharing the studio clips and playlist in her newsletter, Harvey conveyed her sincere appreciation for her nearly 30-year collaboration with Parish and Flood. “This is a celebration of their masterful work with me. I am so grateful. Thank you, John. Thank you, Flood. I love you both,” she wrote.

The visionary behind ‘Let England Shake’ also teased a forthcoming announcement, slated for tomorrow (April 25), in last week’s newsletter. “Keep an eye out for a special announcement next Tuesday at 8 pm BST,”

In February of last year, Harvey posted photos of herself in the studio, sparking speculation about new music on the horizon. The multi-talented musician, poet, and artist released her most recent album, ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project,’ in 2016. Since then, she has ventured into new creative territories, composing the score for the stage play ‘All About Eve’ and releasing a new book, ‘Orlam,’ in 2022.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Harvey confirmed that she has been working on her 10th studio album and is “very pleased with it,” hinting at a potential 2023 release.

While fans eagerly await Harvey’s special announcement, they can explore her collaborative playlist with John Parish and Flood, now available on Spotify. This curated collection of tracks highlights the trio’s enduring creative bond and provides a tantalizing taste of what the future may hold for PJ Harvey’s musical endeavors.
