Philadelphia Darkwave Act Night Sins Debuts Video for Sinister Gothic Rock Track “Kill Like I Do”

Philadelphia’s Night Sinsthe long-running project helmed by Kyle Kimballreturns with the dark and sinister video for “Kill Like I Do”, the second single from the darkwave act’s forthcoming fifth studio album Violet Age.

To many, Kyle Kimball is known as the percussive energy found behind the drum kit of Nothing. But his long-running project Night Sins has proven to be a formidable force in the underground music scene in its own right.

Going from sounding like Depeche Mode on one track, to Nitzer Ebb on another,  “Kill Like I Do” further highlights Kimball’s versatility as both musician and frontman, with his shadowy vocals permeating the track like the industrial-grade fog machine enveloping The Sisters of Mercy’s Andrew Eldritch caustic snarl circa Floodland and Vision Thing.

“‘Kill Like I Do’ is a metaphor for having zero self control,” Kimball told Revolver of the song’s themes. “It’s about not being able to stop until you’ve hit the floor.”

Night Sins’ Violet Age is out June 10th via Born Losers Records.
