Following a showcase at SXSW earlier this year, Los Angeles’ Numb.er have unveiled a fantastic new two-track single “Price” to coincide with their tour across North American with UK Psychedelic Shoegaze duo The KVB.
The new track “Price” is a kinetic burst of dark and urgent energy which highlights the various sonic influences Numb.er’s Jeff Fribourg explores, from krautrock, shoegaze, to post-punk, altogether evoking a foreboding tempest of sound augmenting the song*s overarching punk driven anxiety.
The B-side to “Price” is the brilliant “We Hide (Redux)”, which is a track taken from their 2018 Felte Records release Goodbye, reinterpreted as an anthemic internal dialogue on the themes of “Price”.
