Guitar driven Norwegian post-punk act Antipole—the moniker of artist Karl Morten Dahl—has recently unveiled “Syndrome”—the first single to be featured on the forthcoming album titled “Radial Glare”.
The new song, featuring Paris Alexander on vocals, follows 2017’s critically acclaimed debut album Northern Flux.
Together, Antipole and Paris Alexander have remixed Geometric Vision, Buzz Kull, Clan of Xymox, IAMTHESHADOW, Hante., In Letter Form, Agent Side Grinder and more.
The video for “Syndrome” is a black and white daydream, introspective with its guitars, bass, synths, and whispered vocals, and lull two 60-noir styled beauties into a trance-like swaying beneath the canopy of trees.

Antipole has teamed up with long-time collaborators Paris Alexander and Eirene and in addition Marc Lewis (The Snake Corps) to record Antipole’s sophomore album, which was produced by Paris Alexander at Blue Door Studio.
Even though based on Karl’s evocative, hypnotic and melancholic style (guitars and bass) all songs have been co-written by Karl with Marc, Alexander and Eirene respectively. The latter three (London/Brighton, UK) have written all lyrics for the album.
Radial Glare is set for release through Young & Cold Records (CD/LP). The CD version is out on September 15th, with the LP to follow on November 1st.
The album can be pre-ordered now through Bandcamp and Young & Cold Records
