Nine Inch Nails is gearing up to return to stages across Europe and North America with The Peel It Back Tour, their first in three years. Announced on January 13 after weeks of speculation, the tour details remained under wraps, partly delayed by the chaos surrounding the L.A. wildfires.
“We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening,” the band said last week.
This tour will see Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and company delivering their signature industrial power at full throttle, taking on massive venues like London’s O2, Berlin’s Uber Arena, and New York’s Barclays Center. Alongside arena dates, they’ll headline major festivals, including Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting and Poland’s Open’er Festival. With a mix of fan favourites and the potential for fresh material, The Peel It Back Tour promises a relentless showcase of Nine Inch Nails’ unparalleled energy.
The tour kicks off June 15 at Dublin’s 3Arena, tearing through Europe with stops in Manchester, London, Cologne, Milan, and Paris. By July, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna take their turn before the band shifts gears for a stateside takeover in August, starting at Oakland Arena in California.
They will then snake through major North American cities like Chicago, Toronto, and New York, with heavy-hitting venues such as Boston’s TD Garden and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center setting the stage. The mayhem wraps September 18 at Inglewood’s Kia Forum after plowing through the South and Southwest.
Nine Inch Nails last hit the road in 2022, marking their belated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction with a Cleveland spectacle that reunited early-era members and dusted off Pretty Hate Machine gems. Since then, the band has teamed up with HEALTH for a blistering 2021 single and has turned their creative energy toward composing the score for Tron: Ares, set to premiere later this year.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Wednesday, January 29th at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
