New albums from White Lies and The Horrors in the works | Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls Dances with Belle and Sebastian

[dropcap]The Horrors[/dropcap] are working on their 5th album, the followup to 2014’s ‘Luminous’ (watch the video for the album’s single “So Now You Know” above). In Clash Magazine, Bass and Organ player Rhys Webb of the band confirmed that they have already commenced work on new material and are recording with Producer Paul Epworth.

“We’re actually working on a new album at the moment. So we’re not really having any downtime. We’re writing and recording. Hoping to release a new record this year.

We wanted to get back in there and get writing. We had a really busy year of touring, so we were ready to get working on new stuff. It’s just because time flies, and it moves so quickly and before you know it, it will be a couple of years between releases.”

[dropcap]White Lies[/dropcap] are also working on their next album—the followup to 2013’s “Big TV”, Here is an update via instagram featuring Bass player Charles Cave “adding a dash of bass to the writing process”. (Watch above “There Goes Our Love Again” from “Big TV)

[dropcap]And[/dropcap] lastly, a special surprise guest joined Belle and Sebastian on stage on Late Night with Seth Meyers—none other than the Dum Dum Girls own frontwoman Dee Dee, who appropriately was chosen to dance along to the song “Sukie in the Graveyard”.
