Hailing from the musical heartland of Nashville, TN, the trio TTOTALS have since traded the Southern charm for the sun-soaked rhythms of Los Angeles. The band orchestrates a symphony of rock n roll that blossoms from minimalistic grooves into the grandeur of cathartic vocal explorations.
With their new single, “Christmas In July,” the band’s sound echoes with spectral traces of Teardrop Explodes, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Deerhunter, painting their melodic canvas with an expansive, dream-infused palette. A radiant twist courses through their music, culminating in an electrifying explosion of fuzz-drenched guitar chords, elevating their unique sound into the realm of the extraordinary. Lindsey Mackin, the melodic voice from Annabelle Chairlegs, graces the track with her enchanting harmonies.
The recently unveiled performance video for “Christmas In July” offers a prism-like homage to the era of 60s psychedelia. Guided by the visionary lens of Craig Hill and illuminated by the entrancing projections crafted by DigDeep LightShow, the kaleidoscopic video captures the effervescent spirit of the period, adding a multi-faceted richness to the song.
