Minimal Synth artist Adam Usi is continuing his exploration of genocide—the darkest aspect of humanity which was touched previously upon in his debut LP Vakuum Mirage, which was released last year by Young & Cold Records.
Transnistria—the second single off of Adam Usi’s second studio LP “In Plastique Bloom” was recorded DIY at the Jewish Holocaust Cemetery in Dachau and in a forest near Jesenwang, a place where many Jews were transported to when American and Allied forces discovered the Nazi Concentration Camps.
Adam Usi records his synths and vocals in one take without using additional software— which highlights the distinctly 80s feel to his music, which treads the boundaries between bright pop and the darkest melodies.
In Plastique Bloom will be available in early 2018 via Young & Cold Records.
