[dropcap]Matteo[/dropcap] Vallicelli—an Italian punk drummer and composer, best known as the live member of The Soft Moon, and Death Index—a musical project with Carson Cox of Merchandise), This winter he debuts his first solo project, Primo, on Captured Tracks.
After moving from Italy to the Kreuzberg area of Berlin, Vallicelli started to naturally experiment with synthesizers and drum machines, but to call his upcoming record Primo Techno would be a disservice, as the music is a far more intricate introspective exploration in electronic music.
