The Phantom of the Los Angeles Theatre, Kontravoid, ahead of his performance at Substance Festival, has a new remix out of the track “Judgment,” a song from his critically acclaimed Faceless EP released during last year’s season of the witch. Canadian-born Cameron Findlay, the mastermind behind Kontravoid, fuses intensity and deep emotion with his tenebrous, atmospheric, and abrasive EBM-driven darkwave. The eerily icy and brooding Kris Baha remix of the track is a dance floor banger in the vein of old-school Ministry, Front 242, and Cabaret Voltaire. It is relentless and unsettling, yet catchy.
