Marc Almond talks about his love for Siouxsie and The Banshees, John Travolta’s dancing, and Gary Numan

Marc Almond, along  with director Julien Temple (The Great Rock And Roll Swindle, David Bowie, Depeche Mode), and Annabel Lamb watch  John Travolta dance in the sequel to the film “Saturday Night Fever”, called “Staying Alive”. They also discuss Gary Numan ripping off Mad Max in his video for “Warriors”, and the Siouxsie and The Banshees video for Dear Prudence.

The is all part of a BBC talk show called “8 Days A Week”, hosted by Robin Denselow. The Banshees part in particular is the most interesting bit—as surprisingly Julien Temple thinks the video for The Banshees’ second Beatles cover is terrible, which set’s Marc Almond off—as he doesn’t seem to take kindly to having his friends insulted.
