As anticipation builds for their sold-out appearance at the upcoming Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, CA, the legendary alternative rock trio Love and Rockets have announced an additional date in the Los Angeles area. The band is set to perform at the stylish Ace Hotel on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in response to overwhelming public demand.

Formed in 1985 after the split of Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, the band comprising Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins have been busy this year with preparations for their forthcoming national tour and the vinyl reissues of their Beggars Arkive album catalog. (Find those here)
In conjunction with their tour and reissues, Love and Rockets will release “My Dark Twin,” a companion piece to their 1996 album “Sweet F.A.” The 22-track double CD/Digital release features eight previously unreleased versions and six unreleased songs from the “Sweet F.A.” sessions. Fans can enjoy Daniel Ash’s exclusive digital mix of the title track, “My Dark Twin (Doppelgänger mix).”
“My Dark Twin” and the expanded edition of “Sweet F.A.” will be available starting June 9, 2023. This follows the vinyl reissues of “Seventh Dream Of Teenage Heaven” and “Express” in January, with “Earth, Sun, Moon” and “Love and Rockets” (self-titled) following on April 28th.
Love and Rockets will embark on their U.S. tour starting with the sold-out Cruel World Festival in Los Angeles on May 20th. The tour will circle the States, making stops in major cities including Salt Lake City, Seattle, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, and Texas.
The band has also confirmed special guests for their shows. Soriah will join Love and Rockets on May 24th in Salt Lake City and May 27th in Portland, OR. Vinsantos will lend support on all other dates, including the first Portland show on May 26th.
