On September 4th, 1989, Love And Rockets released their self-titled fourth studio album Love And Rockets, featuring the band’s biggest hit “So Alive”, along with the songs “No Big Deal”, “Motorcycle” and “Rock and Roll Babylon”.
Watch below a 1989 interview with the band filmed in NYC in promotion of the record where Daniel Ash and the brothers Haskins discuss the North American success of “So Alive” and more.
Following the release of the self-titled album, Ash and J went on to release two solo albums (with drummer Kevin Haskins working primarily with Ash) before reuniting as a trio to record 1994’s Hot Trip to Heaven.
