Following more than ten thrilling years of establishing their mark in the alternative scene with indie zines and grassroots shows in the heart of Los Angeles and beyond, Dum Dum Zine is set to shift the tectonic plates of the city’s vibrant music landscape by dropping the inaugural Dum Dum Fest into the mix on Saturday, June 24th at The Echo.
The festival is primed to feature a quintet of boundary-pushing acts. Taking the top slot on this eclectic bill is Patriarchy, a name synonymous with their provocative aesthetics and sound. Also sharing the limelight are Taleen Kali, Iress, Lauren Lakis, and Nightjacket.
The fest wouldn’t be complete without a set of killer DJ sets. Adding to the auditory delights will be locally loved spinners from institutions including Rubycon Records, Dune Altar, A La Carte, and Mutation.
There will also be vendors peddling their wares and delectable desserts and a good old-fashioned photo booth for those looking to take home a few fun souvenirs of the night.
