Los Angeles actor and musical artist Omar Doom debuts a new record label, Doom Vision Records, with an album of remixes by Gost, Corvad, Moris Blak, Nightcrawler, Destryur, and ESA. In the beguiling grip of STRAIGHT RAZOR – REMIXED, the sonic alchemy of yesteryears’ 80s and 90s mingles with the nefarious strands of industrial, techno, and darkwave, culminating in an auditory tapestry that is at once menacing and enchanting. Each beat, a nefarious incursion, marches forth in relentless rhythm, whilst the hypnotic clockwork melody weaves its illusory spell around the unsuspecting listener.
This is EBM-tinged techno of the most sinister and enthralling variety, a darkly cinematic concoction infused with an air of impending annihilation that teeters on the edge of the abyss. It is an intense soundtrack for the intrepid souls who dare to venture into the shadows of the club, and for those who, with hearts pounding and adrenaline coursing, speed off down the highway as Armageddon unfurls in their rearview mirror. Or…maybe just blaring in your ears for a couple hours at the gym.
The album can be pre-ordered here. Listen below via Spotify and/or add to your favorite Industrial Gym session or Das Bunker pre-game playlist:
